There is no essential difference in style and structure between circular vibrating screen and linear screen. Materials are screened according to the vibration of screen surface, but various differences in vibration trajectories will affect the screening effect.

 

Working principle

The motor is driven by the triangle belt to make the eccentric block of the exciter run at a high speed, generate a very large centrifugal inertia force, and stimulate the screen box to produce a circular motion with a certain amplitude. The materials on the screen are subjected to the impulse transmitted by the screen box on the inclined screen surface to produce a continuous throwing motion. In the production process of meeting the materials with the screen surface, the particles smaller than the screen hole are sieved through, so as to realize classification.

 

Linear screen

The vibration motor is used as the vibration source to make the materials be thrown up on the screen, and at the same time, the materials move forward in a uniform straight line at a uniform speed. The materials are evenly fed from the conveyor to the feed inlet of the screen machine, and several specifications of above screen and below screen are generated according to the multi-layer screen, which are discharged from their respective outlets.

 

There is no essential difference between the style of circular vibrating screen and linear screen. The screening effect is achieved by the uniform linear motion of materials formed by the vibration of screen surface. However, the different vibration trajectories will affect the screening effect, so the customer’s selection is very critical, so the customer should know more about these two kinds of machinery and equipment to avoid losses caused by incorrect selection.

 

The circular vibrating screen achieves the screening effect through the exciting force generated by the vibration exciter driven by the ordinary motor through the soft connection. The circular vibrating screen makes the materials move in a parabolic circular track on the screen surface, so that the materials are dispersed as much as possible, which improves the bouncing force of the materials and reduces the hole plugging problem. Because the eccentric block of the vibrating motor is small, the vibration frequency should be higher, and the amplitude height of the material on the screen surface should be low, so the movement time of the material on the screen surface will be shorter, and there is almost no angle between the screen surface and the ground during manufacturing. Linear screen is mainly used to screen fine particles, light specific gravity and low hardness materials. It is generally used in the food, chemical, building materials and pharmaceutical industries Most of the materials used for the manufacture of linear screen are light plate or stainless steel plate, and there are great differences in weight, amplitude and efficiency compared with circular vibrating screen.

1. Motion track

The materials on the circular vibrating screen move in a circular motion, and the materials on the linear screen move forward in a uniform linear motion.

 

2. Vibration exciter

Circular vibrating screen is also called single shaft vibrating screen because the exciter is a shaft and works with inertia motor. Linear screen exciter is composed of two shafts and works with the principle of vibration motor excitation, so it is also called double shaft vibrating screen.

 

3. Hole plugging

The material of the circular vibrating screen moves in a parabolic circular trajectory on the screen surface, so that the material is dispersed as much as possible, thereby improving the bouncing force of the material, and the material stuck in the screen hole can also jump out, reducing the problem of hole plugging.

In addition, for difficult materials, the circular vibrating screen can reverse the main shaft, so that the direction of vibration is opposite to the direction of material movement, and the movement speed of materials along the screen surface is reduced (when the inclination angle of the screen surface is the same as the rotation speed of the main shaft), so as to improve the screening efficiency.
